Grok

Grok usage limits

Grok replaced separate daily limits with one shared weekly pool, shown as a percentage and reset on a schedule in your settings.

The short answer

Starting in June 2026, Grok moved to one shared weekly usage pool instead of separate daily limits per product. It resets every week on the schedule shown in Settings › Usage, where you see it as a percentage used, broken down by API, Build, Chat, Imagine, and Voice. When it runs out, paid features pause until the reset unless you add Extra Usage Credits.

Grok Bot

Grok Bot is the desktop and iOS agent from Cursor. On the X Subscription, it's included on Premium, Super, and Ultra and draws from the same weekly pool as Cursor and the Grok apps, not a separate Grok Bot meter. On legacy Cursor plans it has its own weekly usage. Grok Bot on macOS and iOS share one usage bucket, and its Usage & Billing settings show weekly included usage and on-demand usage.

Will you make it to the reset?

Grok Bot saves your weekly usage on your Mac while it's open. Fuel Gauge reads it, with no sign-in or network call, and tells you whether you'll make it to the weekly reset at your current pace.
